INSTALLING THE ATTACHMENT PIN

• Liftthefrontofthesnowblowertoaligntheholesin
themountingplatesandthesideplates.Fromtheleft
sideofthetractorinserttheattachmentpinthrough
theholes.Secureitwithbyreinstallingthe1/8"hairpin
cotter.
SETTING THE AUGER BELT TENSION
STEP 33: (SEE FIGURE 31)
• Pulltherightsidetensioningchainuntiltheendofthe
spring is pulled into the hole in the side of the Clutch/
Idlerassembly.Installa1/8"hairpincotterthrough
the end of the spring, securing it on the outside of the
Clutch/Idlerassembly.
IMPORTANT:Forcorrectbelttension,the 1/8" hairpin
cotter must attach to the end of the spring, not to the
chain.
NOTE;Topreventthechainfromdraggingonthe
ground,looptheendofthechainthoughthepivotlock
pin.Refertogure30onpage16.

• Verifythatthesnowthrowerraisesandlowers
properly.
• Checkskidshoeadjustment.(RefertotheService
andAdjustmentssection.)
ATTACH REFLECTORS TO REAR FENDER

• Ifyourtractorisnotequippedwithrearreectors,
assemblethesuppliedrearreectorstotherear
fender.Placethereectorsasclosetothebottomof
the fender and as far apart as the shape of the fender
will allow.
